Packing Guide

A woman and a man are using a laptop and tablet

The ability to pack, wrap and load household goods professionally for an international shipment is an acquired skill that requires years of experience. Our first step in developing high standards of packing capability is to carefully select and dedicate a highly-skilled crew to international relocations. When packing, an oversized wardrobe is given the same care and attention to detail as a delicate crystal glass. No detail is left to chance.

Afast Movers Services utilises careful packing methods and a variety of the highest quality packing materials to ensure the safe transportation and delivery of your effects.

China and Glassware

Packed with fine tissue paper, blank newsprint and bubble pack before being carefully placed in a Double Walled Corrugated Dish Pack carton. Extra packing materials will be placed as padding to ensure that no movement occurs within the carton during transit.

Furniture Items

Packed with blank newsprint and wrapped with corrugated cardboard sheets.

Carpets

Rolled with a first layer blank newsprint and followed by corrugated cardboard sheets. The carpet will be “littered” with silica gel to prevent moisture

Dresses and Suits

Hung up to avoid creasing in our Double Walled Hanging Wardrobe cartons. For foldable clothes we provide lay-down wardrobe cartons where they can be neatly packed.

Paintings and Mirrors

To completely avoid any damage to those fragile items, lots of tissue paper, blank newsprints and bubble packs are used before they are placed in Double Walled Corrugated cartons. Made to measure wooden crates can even be made for valuable antiques, works of art, marble tops, glass table tops, pianos, pool table slates etc.
